WHAT IS OEKOTEX?
The International OEKO-TEX® Association was established in 1992 and consists of 15 textile research and test institutes in Europe and Japan with over 50 local offices world wide.The Oeko Tex Standard is for various textile products to ensure that the chemicals used throughout the production process is not harmful or dangerous to human health. The scope of the human ecological requirements is based on the intended use of the textile. In principle, the more intensively a textile comes into contact with the skin, the stricter the limit values it must fulfill.
